PICTURES

Some of you have contacted me, and said that you couldn't find my pictures. Sorry. I LOVE looking at before, on the way, and after pics myself, so let me try to help.

The FIRST picture (before) is located in the March archives. If you look on the right hand side of the screen, scroll down until it says March 2006. Click on March, and then you'll have to scroll, scroll, scroll down to the very bottom of the page.

To find my picture after the 20 pound loss, once again you'll have to visit the archives. Click on April 2006, and scroll about halfway down the page this time. You'll find a good comparison picture there. Hopefully by the end of May, I'll be posting a smaller one!
Also, someone wanted to know my starting weight. It was 245.5!
24 ugly pounds ago!

Hi Ya Donna, you are so pretty, I can tell for sure about the weight loss. Good on ya and go for it.
I am single and no dependents. All my friends are married with kids in High school or college now.
I went to college and have been so dedicated to my career as a court reporter working in Court as an Official that times just passes ya by.
I lived in the U.K. for 8 years and thought I had met the man of my dreams. Well, a year later he gave me the boot and I literally crumbled.
Hence moving back to the USA and emerging myself in work and food and food and food. I reached 217 at one point and went to WW and lost 50.
It crept back on slowly and said what the heck I have work.
Well, this last B-day I said something has got to give. My cousin in the U.K. has met a bloke and now getting married Aug 2007.
I thought if she can do it so can I. I cannot give up on myself.
So I want to say thank you for your board and keeping me strong as I have been going back reading all your blogs -- so inspirational.
Like I said I started Monday at 195, goal 135 by Sept 1st when I return with my mum to the U.K. to yes face the music and my cousin and her new bloke, which by the way she is around 250 and size 22.
I want to get off that plane feeling a million. So please keep me inspired with your blogs, I need them. I get more from your board than the support off the Ruthann one.
Okay, enough of me, back to the salt mines here in court. Will touch base on Monday.
Hopefully I will have the courage being thin to meet Mr. Goodbar and go fwd. After all it will be 4 years this coming Sept so enough is enough. L x

Hi Ya Donna, Monday morning at back at it up here at the courthouse. I wouldn't tell a soul what I am doing as they would think I was mad. They all go out for their lunches and overdose on junk and I hold my breath.
I am pleased to announce I weight myself in the a.m. and kept getting on and off the scales. I could not believe it. I am down 13 pounds. Yes, 13 pounds. So we can do it.
I am also going to look online for the Tony Little Gazelle like you suggested. I have not been killing myself just 30 minutes on the treadmill but if the Tony Little is portable I could use that upstairs versus the basement room where the treadmill is.
So let me know how you are doing, going to post on the main support board right now.
U.K. watch out this yank is on her way, as they still call us Americans over there yanks, guess it stuck after WWII.
Think thin, L x

Question to ya Donna: I see I can get it at Wal-Mart. Do you have the edge trimmer or the freestyle and what is the diff. Also do I need to assemble it or not and is it portable? Keep me posted, let me know and will get on it. Think thin L x

Hi, sorry, I've been off the board for a few days. I had a huge wedding, and reception to video, and put on DVD, then I left to go camping. So glad to read your comments though. It inspires me when I find out there are people out there who are actually getting something from my blogs! Thanks for writing!
About the gazelle...I think mine is the Gazelle Elite. I don't know if you can even get that one now. I bought it a few years back. If not at Wal-Mart you could always check E-Bay. You can really find some deals there. I think I paid 94.00 dollars for it at Wal-mart.com. It has the computer, but no shocks, or any of the other new stuff they've added. However, it works for me! I think the one with the adjustable resistance would be nice to have, but like I said the one I have is GREAT. As long as you are MOVING your body, you're burning calories!
You hang in there, you're doing AWESOME, and you CAN do this, and you WILL find Mr. Right. I'm in my 3rd marriage, and it took a little searching, but I found my Mr. Right. You will too!
Keep up the great work, and keep me posted!
Hugs!
Donna
